Painter Magazine issue 25 arrived here on monday where I held a workshop about iconography and storytelling in art. The advanced tutorial also deals with the problem of placing more than one character in composition.
Since I had no chance to hold the magazine in my own hands yet I will update this paragraph with some other information as soon as I could take a look at it.
Okay so since I now got to read the workshop I must say that some information that you can find in the description of “Reunion” which was actually painted for this workshop are not up to date anymore since they were replaced by some others by the editors. Too bad for me, but see it as an addon compared to the online description.
I also got Issue 01/2009 of the German Advanced Photoshop magazine some while ago. They did a little interview with me.
Calling me “Pogoda” they wrote that I’d have a sense for fashion which would be expressed by the immensly detailed costumes which my characters usually wear. But they also said my art would often remind the viewer of manga/ anime illustrations.
I don’t really get why they wrote that but it is not the first time that my art got compared to manga… maybe I should try out real manga illustrations to get the stamp of an artist who masters realism next. 
Other than that, the printing result of the interview went out good and I am satisfied.
